MANILA, Philippines – Barako Bull is not about to fade away in the night without giving up one last good fight.

The Energy Boosters are parading a new import in Jamaal Williams when they take on the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters in a must-win game for them Wednesday at the start of the Motolite-PBA Fiesta Cup wildcard phase at the Araneta Coliseum.

Williams is taking over the spot vacated by Jeff Varem.

A product of University of New Mexico, Williams is no stranger in the league, having suited up for the Sta. Lucia Realtors in the 2006-07 season.

Barako Bull finished the eliminations at the bottom of the standings with a 2-12 record, both victories coming with original choice Scooter McFadgon was still around.

As the 10th seeded team, the Energy Boosters needed to beat the no. 3 Elasto Painters twice to advance into the quarterfinal phase of the season-ending meet. – GMANews.TV

Slight correction, Willams will be replacing Daryan Selvy not Jeff Varem.
