MANILA, Philippines – The trade that will have Cyrus Baguio and Celino being shipped to Barangay Ginebra has been shot down.

Manager Danny Espiritu confirmed a silent move by the Gin Kings to acquire the services of the two Burger King players, but failed to succeed after Whoppers management said “no."

Espiritu did not elaborate on the details of the deal, particularly the players Ginebra is willing to give up for Baguio and Cruz.

The Gin Kings are still waiting for the arrival of Mark Caguioa, who is still in the U.S. trying to recover from a knee injury. His absence has caused great misfortunes to Ginebra, which has only two wins in seven games. – GMANews.TV
