MANILA, Philippines – Rain or Shine parades a new import in Jai Lewis when it takes on Alaska Thursday in the Motolite-PBA Fiesta Cup at the Ynares Arena in Pasig.

Lewis takes over Charles Clark III, who for the second time has failed to complete a conference. Clark got injured in his first tour of duty with the Elasto Painters and had to be replaced.

The 26-year old Lewis was a product of George Mason University. He was one of the primary reasons behind the college’s Cinderella run in the U.S. NCAA Final Four appearance in 2006 under coach John Thompson III.

But he never made it to the NBA. He last played in Japan with the Rera Kamu Hokkaido team and had previous stints in Israel and France.
