MANILA, Philippines – Barangay Ginebra leaned on import Rod Nealy’s sparkling performance on the floor to run back Coca-Cola, 110-103, in Wednesday’s game in the Motolite-PBA Fiesta Conference at the Ynares Center in Pasig City.

Nealy burned the hoops with 42 points, collected 23 rebounds and was an assist short of a triple-double with the nine feeds he issued all-game long.

Ginebra became the fifth team in the season-ending conference to win its debut joining Rain or Shine, San Miguel, Purefoods and Burger King (formerly Air21).

The Tigers, despite trailing by double-digits midway in the third period, seemed headed for the victory but the Kings managed to find ways to get them out of trouble.

Coke reinforcement JJ Sullinger and guard Alex Cabagnot combined for almost half of the Tigers’ output but failed to lead their team against the league’s crowd darling. Sullinger finished with 28 points while Cabagnot added 22 along with five assists.
